To quote the Barenaked Ladies, “Anything easy has its costs”, a motto I strive to remember when constantly pursuing success in myself and the agents I assist to lead to their best potential. 12 months of hard work, determination, challenges, education and motivation with a side car of a lot of fun, rewarded these agents with the most successful year to date for Ray & Poynor. These are a few of my favorite things from 2022, plus a surreal finish to one of the hottest real estate markets that literally ended up catching fire and concluded with me channeling Hugh Grant.
Office Engagements~ Four of our Agents got engaged/married in 2022 and we had fun at sales meeting celebrating each one!
Chambers of Commerce~ Ray & Poynor has been involved in several City Chambers in the past, and in 2022 became proud, involved members of 6 Chambers around and outside of the Birmingham metro area. Each chamber has its own Ray & Poynor agent as a designated liaison.
New Agents~ We welcomed 8 new agents in 2022! Three previously licensed and five newly licensed.
Breakfast with the Broker~ I thoroughly enjoy my 4-Top every Friday morning getting to know agents better and sharing/learning things I never knew about them, even the one’s I thought I knew everything about!

Lunch & Learns~ 2022 Brought back monthly office education with good food, great comraderie & plenty of conversation. One of my favorites was Trivia Game Show with Teams: Millennial , Generation X and Boomers.

An unforeseen Finale becomes our biggest rally ~
We may have lost our beloved 2629 office but we certainly didn’t lose our leadership, teamwork & team spirit. Ray & Poynor is more than a building and our people make it home. We are excited for our new location opening January 2023!
