Lucia Plosser Tabb was born and raised in Birmingham. She graduated from Mountain Brook High School, received her Bachelors degree from Davidson College, and earned a Masters degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Lucia joined Ray and Poynor Properties in 2018 and brings to her clients a native’s knowledge of Birmingham and its surrounding communities as well as an appreciation of design and construction.
While working on her Masters degree in History, Lucia worked in development for the Public Affairs Research Council of Alabama. She taught high school history at Woodward Academy in Atlanta and has coached competitive soccer in both Atlanta and Birmingham. Lucia’s interest in history and her long family’s history in Birmingham gives her a wealth of knowledge of the city of Birmingham and surrounding communities. She also has a strong interest in design and construction after working for her father’s architecture firm and watching her sister develop her own residential architecture firm in Birmingham.
Lucia is married to Ashley Tabb, and they have three active boys. She is an active member of Saint Luke’s Episcopal Church and currently sits on the boards of Birmingham United Soccer Association and the Crestline Elementary PTO. Lucia has volunteered through the Junior League of Birmingham, Symphony 30, the McWane Center, Children’s Arts Guild and Junior Women’s Committee of 100. In her spare time, Lucia enjoys weekends at the soccer fields, playing tennis, and spending time at Lake Martin with family and friends.
